I have had my Cr-48 for approximately 10 hours. Ten amazing hours.
It all started around ten this morning. I opened my door to see a UPS man on the other side with a large box. I signed for the package and brought it inside, wondering which Christmas present I'd bought for someone else had arrived.
Little did I know, this box was better than that... This box contained a Christmas miracle. My very own Cr-48 Google Chrome OS notebook.
It is beautiful. It is soft. I want to take it with me everywhere (and so far I have).
How I ended up with one of these, I am unsure. Last week I filled out a quiz on Facebook about living on the web. I was under the impression that I was typing my address and phone number in to receive a Chrome sticker in the mail. I have heard rumor that this is one way people receive their Cr-48.
Two days ago, I filled out an application to join the pilot program. I figured I was one of thousands and there's no way they'd pick me. Guess I got lucky!
